International Rocket Engineering Competition brings $2.6M boost to ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½

At their meeting Tuesday, ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ County Commissioners were given a recap of the economic impact the recent 18th Annual International Rocket Engineering Competition had on the community.
During the international competition, the educational presentations took place at the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ County Horseshoe. In addition, the competition utilized additional venues such as the Bush Convention Center and locations in Saragosa, Texas with land access provided by Landbridge.
Jennifer Williams, a coordinator with Visit ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½, told commissioners that the event attracted 2,400 out-of-town attendees, including 143 collegiate and university teams, as well as participants from more than 20 countries.
